Is my PS3 Slim faulty?

Whenever I play BSPEC mode and watch from the TV style view the game seems to "judder" and awful lot - more than the odd frame drop its visibly dropped by a lot. It seems to happen a lot on the Daytona non-oval track and is seemingly non-consistent i.e. I can restart the race and sometimes it's ok sometimes.. not It's only a few days old and thus not dusty etc.

Is anyone else experiencing frame rate drops of this manner? I am playing 720p on a SAMSUNG C750 btw if that makes any difference

Nope i got a slim and in bspec I notice a massive jerk or skip when the b spec driver is taking a corner. I dont know if the fps or the actual car itself.

TV style view? Of course the fps will drop more then normal, especially when there are many cars displayed at once.
Some real hard fps hits can be seen at Tokyo during the Super GT, were all cars are Premium.
Also screen tearing will occur.

I guess because replays run at 30fps, and this view is like the main replay view.

At least yours runs. Mine cuts out randomly as if someone pulls out the plug.
