Is Test Season 2 really starting tomorrow?

I was looking forward to a break after season 1 with some casual online racing, but then I saw the calendar in-game. I really thought that they were going to make some changes in between the test seasons and give us some time to breathe. Not sure if I want to get involved in another season so quickly. It has been very time consuming to practice and get ready for these races. But hey, it's meant to be testing after all.

Yep it's actually happening, there's a notification about it in game too. I also don't like it and probably won't be participating, at least not in all of the races. It's too much to keep doing these kind of races daily when you have a full time job.

They are still testing everything so I assume they are just going to keep running them back to back to gain data and work on the system. I’m fairly certain the test stop and the real thing is scheduled for April which really isn’t that far away. The more data they have the better. They are also throwing many different things into each one. Tire wear, fuel, damage, one makes.... I think it’s just a bunch of various things to see what handles best. Just don’t participate in the ones that are trash and they will know not to do that anymore hopefully. Like I won’t touch the ovals or small tracks with 20 cars lol. It only counts 3 races out of 6 for the week so you have options.

Yes we will. It tells you that when you choose the first time. The end of this month is the end of the first season I believe and after that you can pick a new manufacturer.

When the non-test championships start, I really hope the scheduling will be different and not so packed. It's hard to work this in when you have a full time job, a wife and a kid, but love racing and want some piece of the action

Also, my gaming hour is usually a bit late at night, and as the last championship races start at 10pm here (GMT) I don't really have the chance to participate. I also feel that the "best 3 races count" thing is not the best solution as well. That means you need to participate in at least 3 races (or 6 if you do both championships) to remain competitive. That's alot of time to arrange.

But afterall these are test championships, we'll see how it'll turn out after, and I guess the dailies will always be there to race, but I'd love to be able to participate in some championships, although I'm not expecting any awards any time soon

What i dont like is that the dailys are less when these races start because if you dont do fia races you have little to do!

If this is another test season, I really hope they ACTUALLY test things now. Like Gr.1 cars, tuning allowed, garage cars (with liveries allowed), tire wear, fuel consumption and and and....

The first season started of pretty nice, but got boring on the second day already...
The fixed car on horrible tracks without tuning killed the experience for me. And I have never driven a Gr.1 car seriously in GTS. Why is that PD? Ah right, sorry, PD stays silent, I forgot.
