I gave the Evo X/Tuned a try at Fuji 550 this afternoon just briefly in free run, and the car was weaving from side to side all on its own, even when I was holding the wheel. Any ideas?

Well it's put me off doing a tune for one, it makes me feel like something is broken and I don't like it.

I have noticed that when positive toe is on the front the car will wander down the straight. Maybe the Evo accentuates this feature?

+1 👍

Toe in helps the steering to centre; toe out will have the opposite effect. Almost certainly causing what you describe.

It's because it's basically a fly by wire car, and the on board CPU is trying to decide the best way around the track, it's a toy car basically.

I tried to add a bit of toe out to the front of my real life car, because I wear the outside shoulders of my tires faster than I do the inside shoulders. And yes, excessive toe out can make a car quite unstable, especially when you hit a bump at high speed. :scared:

you mean drive by wire? The thing that 98% of all cars have now? Why would that make the car swerve left and right?
