I meant to post that somewhere else. This could have been avoided had I been paying more attention. I meant to put it in the 'let's get deep for a moment' thread. I'm not sure how I f'd that up. Sorry km.

But what is the motive of the girl in your psychological test, el mano?

What is the answer?

This is a genuine psychological test. It is a story about a girl. While at the funeral of her own mother, she met this guy whom
she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much her dream guy she believed him to be, that she fell in love with him there and then ... A few days later the girl killed her own sister.

Question: What is her motive in killing her sister?

Is this some kind of presumption/prejudice test?

My answer is that since there is no direct connection to the events at their mother's funeral and the first sister killing the second, ther is no true motive. The funeral story is designed to create speculation.

For instance, one could guess the male is a cousin and the other sister was going to tell in a family which may not approve of in-family affairs, or was worried about the competition the sister might give. Since there is no mention of a father, one could guess the man to be the father, and the jealouy or whatever motives are at play again. The sister may have scratched a cd. worthy of death.

I think the test is trying to check for prejudices.

If we assume she is a girl (17-18 or younger) and he is a man we can assume a possibly improper relationship, and can also deduce that such a man would be a corrupting influence which leads to a murder, especially since the comission of one bad thing makes you guilty of others. It's unfair and not exactly logic, though it's not absurd to suggest that a person who acted against society once would do it again, as we base much on precedence.

Also, if you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test by famous American psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in this test and answered it correctly. If you didn't answer correctly - good for you. If your friends hit the jackpot, may I suggest that you keep your distance.

That makes since, but I stand by my contention. At the very least it is a more introspective answer.

Anyway those rules are pretty dumb, the one about not using profanity, i mean i only use the words ive known since elementry, i dont think that anyone on this forum is younger than that, and the rest of those rules are just dumb stuff that never happens. I dont really see what the big problem is!
Profanity is not forbidden because a "little kid" might read it. If they are mature enough to use a computer by themself, then they've obviously heard every word in the book by now. However, if you'll notice, flaming, aggressive behavior, and general bad attitudes are fueled and encouraged by profanity - and I don't want any of those things in my community.

she wanted to see the guy again? i don't remember exactly.

regarding the dumb threads, i'm sorry to say it, but for every adult here, there's 5 kids. what do you expect? maturity isn't something most here are familiar with

oh, i didn't notice this thread had 2 pages... :embarrassed:

the maturity comments still apply, though.

there's a time to act like a clown, and there are times when we need to be serious. i always think before making a thread, or even posting something that might be useless for other people to see.

sorry jordan in my short experience here i dont think ive seen any aggresive stuff going on. but if u dont want cussin goin on i guess thats ok. I just use words like that when i want to emphasize what im talking about like so fing cool as opposed to just so cool, know what i mean
