Is the G25's clutch feature fully implemented in GTR1 on PC?

I was just wondering if the h-gate shifter mode on the Logitech G25 worked with GTR or does it only support sequential shift mode? I know it is fully compatible with GTR2 the sequel game to Gtr. Thanks
