My bad, I apologize your royal highness Still it's very annoying none the less.
I will not consider the grievance you caused in the decision not to decapitate you, my humble subject.

When this discussion occurs online (which it does) I always bring up the tires it comes equipped with when purchased. Sure I only drift on comfort hards but I believe all of the D1GP cars in the game come with comfort softs, whereas the Amemiya FD comes with sport softs.
the reason is, sports soft is equal to s-tires(semi-slicks) and the amemiya can get 59 secs at tsukuba with s-tires. The s-tires it uses are advan a048 irl. It's also a time-attack car, that is the reason why it uses sports soft as default.
Amemiya, the Bathurst isn't particularly advantageous as the FDs go. The Spirit R on the other hand is inappropriately grippy given what it is.
Errr... the Bathurst IS the Type R. Hahahahaha...
Really guys? Theres pictures of the exact GT5 version drifting in real life. Its the same as any rx-7 just a better body kit than GT5 has to offer. But with turning down all aerodynamics it shouldnt matter what body kit or spoiler you have. And i personally primarly use the amemiya because of looks and controlibility. It by all means not any better than most stock cars in GT5. I dont have the engine upgraded and it has 487 hp but usually it wont go keep up with cars. Gears set approiatly helps get it up in to 60 mph but it can over shoot a turn then. Honestly, i think driftem if ya gottem. Just dont get stupid an use like a Enzo or Ford GT. Not meant for drifting whats so ever.
