Is the X2010 really invincible?

Lately i was wondering "if i do a really horrible setup for the X2010, could it be beaten by another car?", so i'm trying something when i win the X2010 (i'm still A-spec level 29): try to find if a perfectly tuned car could beat a badly tuned X2010. If anyone have a BAD setup, please post it here, i'm going to test it along my brother.
 
Depends.
Drive them both to the best of your ability and no matter how badly you tune the x1 the awesome power of it in a straight line and it's already huge downforce will make it near impossible.
Drive it badly on the other hand and you can beat it in a lot of things.

Lowest it gets to is 249mph which it would hit very very quickly.
So flat out speed wont beat it no matter what you use, you somehow have to beat it around corners which means you have to gimp it's ability to turn so fast.
 
Well, i try to do my best in every car, but in this test, in split screen, my brother will drive the X2010 (he rarely drives, but he's also skilled), and i'll drive a Formula Gran Turismo. Which track could minimize the difference between these cars?

Put Comfort Tyres on the X2010, minimise downforce, make the car as high as possible, gears as short as possible, max toe-in at the rear, max spring rate on the front, min spring rate on the rear, max camber (will be worse than zero camber), and a Ferrari F1 car or FGT may stand a chance.:P

Unfortunately the height can't be changed in a X2010
 
i took all downforce to minimum. all so i could flog it down the cirque straights. i still gribbed like a rubber glove and pulled 480. cant change gearing. can only do suspension and downforce. so i say "NO" it cant be beaten. not unless you drive bad
 
The tank car can beat it, or the midget. Actually I'm a lvl 31 and I just didn't go get it yet, Too much time to spend over a car you can't really use. I remember playing Rush on split screen with my brother back in the day, that was fun.

Did not know that, nor do I care what Hollywood does. My reference is to the rich history that track bestows relative to the racing world.


If a racer can not respect that, then I would say they are not racers but gamers.


Try to match these times with anything other then a X1 aka X2010.

1:02 on Daytona Road
:32 on Grand Valley East

Just a few times off the top of my head.

Reality check! This is GTPlanet... I'm pretty sure most of the topics around here involve one video game or another. Supposed "racers" need not apply...
 
It's a stupid make believe car that should never been included in a game like gt5, its supposed to be the "real driving simulator" cars like that should be kept for kids games like need for speed, they ruin online races too!

If it was something they made up with no relevance to real world physics then, I can see you being bent. However this is not the case....do you even own one yet? Most that whine don't have them, I mean this respectfully.

As well with online we never ever have issues with them, WE SET THE RESTRICTIONS!

I've had chance to get one via trading on a few occasions, I just don't want such a silly car, what's the point in it? I mean if I used one online I will win the race hands down regardless of how well I drive, where's the joy in that? And if I want to race other super fast "pretend" cars I will just play wipeout hd. Am also fed up with having a great online race ruined by some talentless noob in an x2010 smash thro everyone at warp speed before breaking too late and smashing into a barrier, yeah I can just set up my own room but I shouldn't have to in order to avoid these "pretend" noob driven cars, if pd wanted to include it they should have at least kept the performance to that of say the fgt or f1 cars.

The thing is, the car itself is grounded in reality. It's a more aerodynamic open wheel race car with a fan built in and a super high revving turbo motor. Nothing about it is silly in the slightest. I can understand being upset about ruining online races though.

Also, back on topic. The X2010 can do a 1 minute lap around Suzuka. With a really bad driver/tune it can still do a 1:25 lap around it. Which is still faster then any F1 car.

Its online, you will need restrictions. . . come on is this your first stint with the interwebs? Think it over, you cant control others, however you can block them from being a douche.

On to more better ideas, I do a ton of online racing. We do so with clean clean drivers and healthy competition. If you would like to join my friends list and get in on some of our racing, in which I think you will be pleased with, you are welcome. Sounds like you got the same wants from a race as those I race with.

PSN is OwensRacing please put a little note that we chatted on the X2010 thread. Having three X2010's you pull it out once to show it off and you got three friend requests asking to trade. :( Look forward to doing some racing. FWIW lately we been practicing for our league, we do however allow others in to race. The class is 800kg and 246 HP.....best car in this is the 111R or if FF is your thing then the Integra RM version does well, still off pace with the mini supercar but its consistent and does not spin so over some laps it could easily get the win.

Other races, I do a lot of Super GT, league racer there as well. Drag racing, organized side by side no BS. I am down for any type of racing though.
