Is There a Firmware Update Available for the CSR (non-elite)?

For those in the know:

As best as I can tell from scouring the 'net, is it correct to say that fanatec is working on a firmware update for the xbox 360 noise and saving memory settings, but that it hasn't been publicly released yet?

If true, has an estimated release date been provided?

As the title says, I'm referring to the regular CSR, not the Elite version.

Just a heads up: There is a Sim-Racing Hardware section; which is where this is found....

Fanatec released the firmware earlier this month then pulled it (I believe because they wanted to update the updater lol. Someone correct me if I am wrong). If you don't mind a little more tedious update process than visit that thread and download the firmware. Just make sure you read through the instructions before attempting it. Good luck.
