Is there a need for PD to combine some small regions?

In the Manitoba region we had 8 racers in the Nations Cup only myself and two others got 5 or more races in, the rest raced 1 or 2. I didn't compete in the Manufacturer Series, but I checked the standing and no results were found in the region, maybe that's because I did not race though.

I'm wondering how many people competed in other regions? Was anyone else disappointed by the lack of competition?

I was really pumped when I saw they were making smaller regions. I usually place 200-300 something overall, 30ish+ in the country so it was nice to have a smaller region where I had a hope to get a nice low finish. I was hoping I'd be competing against a small group of 10-20 drivers so needless to say it was real shame to see only 2 other drivers competing. Don't get me wrong, it was nice to see a 2nd place in my final results but still....

Maybe PD can combine some of the smaller regions. I imagine for my region, we can combine the Prairie provinces and states, Saskatchewan, the Dakotas, Montana etc. I'm sure Ontario, Quebec, Texas, California etc are fine.

While I'm on the subject it would be neat if PD gave the option to also view your rankings against only drivers with your same DR. I always manually counted and among DR B I was 17th overall, 4th in Canada. It would be a nice confidence boost for us average racers.

The regional Manufacturer standings list the players in your region AND those using your manufacturer.

Hence if there was no results, it means no person in your region also used the same manufacturer as you (and I know you didn't compete but I'm assuming you still picked a manufacturer to be able to see the standings).

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. That could certainly use some adjustment then. Either split up those results or just have the overall. Even in regions with 100+ competitors I imagine you'd only get a small handful who pick the same manufacturer and compete regularly.

I'm from Manitoba too! Crazy! What's your PSN ID?

...they just need to enable for people to join closest server, or an option to choose server with current latency and amount of people connected to that server. Life improvement a la grande

My post or questions don't have to do with latency or servers. I'm asking about our local region standings only. I'm sure my region is not the only one where less than 5 people play consistently.

I'd simply like to hear how many people participated in the Nations Cup from other local regions and also I'm suggesting PD review the regions and combine a few that had poor attendance.
