In the Manitoba region we had 8 racers in the Nations Cup only myself and two others got 5 or more races in, the rest raced 1 or 2. I didn't compete in the Manufacturer Series, but I checked the standing and no results were found in the region, maybe that's because I did not race though.
I'm wondering how many people competed in other regions? Was anyone else disappointed by the lack of competition?
I was really pumped when I saw they were making smaller regions. I usually place 200-300 something overall, 30ish+ in the country so it was nice to have a smaller region where I had a hope to get a nice low finish. I was hoping I'd be competing against a small group of 10-20 drivers so needless to say it was real shame to see only 2 other drivers competing. Don't get me wrong, it was nice to see a 2nd place in my final results but still....
Maybe PD can combine some of the smaller regions. I imagine for my region, we can combine the Prairie provinces and states, Saskatchewan, the Dakotas, Montana etc. I'm sure Ontario, Quebec, Texas, California etc are fine.
While I'm on the subject it would be neat if PD gave the option to also view your rankings against only drivers with your same DR. I always manually counted and among DR B I was 17th overall, 4th in Canada. It would be a nice confidence boost for us average racers.
