Is there a pit penalty ?

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is a pit penalty currently implemented in the game for, let's say, entering the pit at higher speed ( you know like F1 - 80KPH for entering). The reason for this is that I noticed sometimes the animation of the pit crew is different - on Interlagos it seemed as they were just staying and waiting for the car a bit too long and on Yamagiwa the changing of the tyres/refueling started immediately - this is what made me think is there something I'm doing wrong or maybe the pits' length is different and this is what causes my confusion. Also, besides "clicking" faster on the type of tyres you want and stopping the refuel when you need, is there another way to reduce the pit time?

GT6 used to punish you if you sped over the line into the pit lane. I don't think Sport does as far as I can tell. The pit crew wait for your car to travel down the pit, as long as you don't make them wait I don't think it matters how long it takes to click on the tyre type?
