Is there a way to keep Bob's character in the middle (between cool and hot)

No, not really. That's how B-Spec works; your role is to give Bob direction and keep him 'at his best', i.e. in the middle.

So i'm expected to sit there for 24 hours and spam commands? it's a joke tbh.
I just came 2nd in the all lambo race on madrid with a maxed out lp670 superveloce because i left for 5 minutes and he cooled off. best competition Bob had was lp640's...
Complete joke tbh

You can sit there for 24 hours if you like mate, don't take it out on me!

Or, you could train your Bob to a high enough level to leave him to run the race unattended. That's what I did (and I'm sure plenty of others too). I also put him in the Toyota Minolta race car which made him untouchable. Even when he had cooled right off, he was still as fast. Try it... :)

For races involving similar cars you'll have to tell him what to do, unless you use a high level Bob. For any of the Endurance races, just use an over powered car like the X2010 or the FGT and you can leave it alone and win easily.

Did you use the correct tires? Check to See what tires were on the car. Also try putting your bob online for some remote racing to help them level up.

The Lambo race is not 24hrs

Once you have an X2010...no matter what skill the driver is at, he will win every single race...no matter what, so you won't need to coach him through a race.

So get an X2010 and race that car in every single event and your golden (literally).
