Is there always a replay and how to view??

Just curious as I see many of you view multiple angles and switch to different cars. Is there something I have to do prior to racing or is there somewhere to view..

I'd like to use this to critique my driving... Also to view incidents where I'm not sure I'm at fault.

There is a replay option of the top left of the results screen. Select that, then select save replay. It will then be viewable from your gallery.

Nice! Toggled over to the quicker guys and watched there racing lines. Took seconds off my lap times @ interlagos.

It actually says replay right on the top left and never saw this after a hundred races..

It is quite strange, however, that you cannot replay right away!
Instead you have to save and exit. Because of that the game has to reload the track. Just 1 minute of time wasted. Sometimes I wonder what those programmers are doing. Put this on your list, guys!

You actually can. The play button next to the race button is the replay
I assume it's not in Sport mode during qualifying/free practice before a race because it's possibly harder to force stop a replay to load them into matchmaking, and neither is it in the race results screen because there's a timer before the whole room closes

Right, the "instant replay" button exists for the whole arcade/campaign modes. Also for qualifying in sport mode if one has not entered the race. It is absent, however, if one has entered, and - especially annoying - after the sport mode race, i.e. exactly where it is needed the most.

Note: The same goes for watching the replays of top 10 qualification laps. Only possible before entering the race! This also had me confused for quite some time!

I said the possible reasons for them not including the replay on said situations on my post beforehand

But I do agree with you on not being able to see the Top 10 replays even in practice before entering the race. That should be added since there's nothing in the game preventing the feature from being added
