Is there an easy way to build mileage points?

I've done a search of this forum trying to find anything that has been brought up about this, but I can't find any.

I'm trying to get my mileage points up so I can invest in the road cars. Is there a simple method to get the points up? Thanks for the help

Complete the easy Achievements. After that, drive cars. The further you drive, the more you get. If you drive at higher speeds, you can get it done quicker.

The fastest average speed lap would be to drive the 2,586hp Tomahawk X at Blue Moon Bay speedway. And you can do that with an elastic band tied around a controller, without even having to be there, for roughly 2,400Mi/hour.

Are you referring to setting up a custom race for this payout?

No, a time trial would be just fine.

I suppose you could run it as a custom race - you'd likely get more credits and XP that way - but in time trial mode you can dip in and out when you like, or just leave it running as long as you like.

Time trial is probably best as long as you don’t lose connection

I might just try the rubber band trick while I put the kids to sleep tonight.
Thank you for this, much appreciated.

I find it best to loop it round the left stick first, figure-eight it between the sticks and then around the back, over between the options button and charge port and onto the right stick.

This keeps the right stick full forwards, but also creates a little slack for the left stick so that you can have just the right amount of right-hand lock. Which is a VERY small amount.

You just read my mind Famine, thank you once again.

Have a good day Sir.

If you go into a custom lobby on your own with the vehicle,as soon as you go out on track pausing the game puts it into autodrive, for as long as you want it to.No need to use the rubber band method.

So can I effectively make a custom lobby myself, add say 200 laps on the blue moon bay track, and then pause as soon as I start it, and it'll still give me the points etc?

Yes.I generally use the tomahawk x on the oval track,i think its called Northern Isle Speedway,as soon as im on track, pause and it will go into auto drive and just carry on.If i remember it turns around 10 second lap times, just leave it for a few hours or however long you want and it will just clock up the milage points.
No credits or xp though, this method worked recently so dont know if its been patched but its not really a glitch or bug though.

1.99mi. I run a 14 lap race at 5am before i head off to work for the week so i can get a daily workout car

Time wise i mean.Average lap on Northern isle is about 10 seconds ish.
With the Tomahawk on an elastic band it's 32s.

Which gives you average speeds of 201mph at Northern Isle and 224mph at Blue Moon Bay. That's 2010 Mi points per hour at Northern Isle, and 2240 Mi point per hour at Blue Moon Bay...

Probably works out better for milage points on Blue Moon then,i never really tried that one.Not done any milage points farming for ages anyway, since they put up the info about `suspending people for misbehaving etc`i was a little concerned about getting penalised for it.
On a separate not how come the lap time is slower with the rubber band method than letting the car auto drive itself?Ive never done any rubber banding so its a new one to me,tried it once on gt6 but the car kept on just spinning out so i didnt bother again!

The "mechanical autodrive" car rubs off the outside walls in the corners.

Has anyone found out yet what they were penalised for? It sounds a bit hush hush. Initial thoughts were suggesting they'd found a bug in the online mode, however if farming is an issue then I too would be concerned about doing it

Not on my track, there all clean laps,10.43sih per lap.Took a pic with my phone, sorry about quality but dont know how to post pics.lol
