Is there tyre temperature/wear?

Hi all! This is something that has been puzzling me for a while. Generally, I'm quite consistent but I'm not sure if GT5 TT is an exception to this case or do the tyres do lose grip through overheating or wear because for some reason, when I restart, I can feel the car bite in easier. Ofcourse, it may be a case of fatigue so I can't focus as well but I'm just not sure so is there any?

I was thinking about this. It's highly unlikely though, it'll be in the final game id say, just like previous GT's, but not in this demo. I feel like I'm more in control when I restart as well, but its probably due to getting used to the feel of the car the more you play.

Had been thinking about the same myselfe, but i tend to drive better after a few laps. Think its only mental related and the flow you get from doing whatever you are used to. They would probably have the wear indicator on and pit opened if there was tire wear aswell i guess.

I'm not sure about this but one thing I have noticed is that if you go on the grass, the tyres pick up dirt so you have less grip when you get back on track.
