Is this game worth getting a PS4?

Last GT game I own is GT6. The last GT game I enjoyed was GT4, also have GT5.

So, is this game worth spending $300+ on a PS4 Pro? I say the starting price of $300+ because I plan to put in a 2tb ssd.

I was worried about the performance of GT7 on the PS4, but it works well enough and I have an original spec PS4 that's been rebuilt. It has the OEM hard drive in it too. It likely doesn't look as good as the PS5 and the loading times are longer, but overall I don't think it looks any better or worse than GT Sport does.

Would I buy a console specifically for the game though? Nope, but I don't think I'd buy a console for any one game. However, with that said, there are still plenty of good games you can play on the PS4.

Watch gameplay videos on YT, read reviews, thumb through the threads on this forum and then you'll have a better idea if you feel it's worth it.

I wouldn't spend $300 on a PS4 (with 2TB SSD) in either case but if you're getting the PS4 specifically for this game I have to wonder why you need a 2TB drive unless you're planning on buying and loading up a bunch of other games? Personally, I'd just put that $300 toward a PS5 but that's just me.

I mean, you can pick a ps4 up second hand for a few hundred, assuming money is an issue.
