That's up to how you want to play.

Some people like to cut the tracks. Some only stay within the boundary. Some like to use no aids. Some love SRF. Some like to put on every part available. Some only use stock vehicles. Some like to run the AI off at every chance... You get the idea.

Yep, basically if PD allows you to enter it, it's fair. Like NCRthree said, it's all how YOU want to play.

If your winning by lap 3 of 5 you have to question are you pushing yourself hard enough? Do you want to whizz through each seasonal as easily as possible or learn new skills and really enjoy driving on the edge to eek out that victory?

Some do yes. It depends if you want to hurry through a seasonal by using something that makes it easy or get more from the experience and learn from it by racing properly. Some people enjoy the challenge and some can't be arsed.

If you can't win a race with a street car against street cars, then using an RM'd car is no big deal, really.

There's a major difference though between using an RM car against street cars and using the Red Bull X2010 against them, that would be considered unbalanced. Hardly "unfair" as the AI don't really have feelings.

People care about fair play with AI?

Took the words off my keyboard. I don't think the AI sits around crying post race.

They head straight to the pub after every race. That's why you never see them ever. AIs have feelings to drown too.

And look! Even the logo on his pint looks like GT's! It definitely would after a few anyway :)

I often reach for an RM (if there is one) if haven't done it in a few attempts, but RM doesn't always give an advantage. This is because of the weight reduction problem (too much weighting in the PP calculation), so at a given PP level it is normally better to have more HP than less weight.

I've found this in the the more recent seasonals on some courses, an have gone for heavier cars to get more HP.
