Is wheel offset directly causing my steering lock?

My '65 Mini is deciding it doesn't feel like taking left handed hairpins at all for some reason! Was playing with ride heights and all spring setting for near an hour, even tossed back on the stock suspension and still massive steering lock. I've given it a wide-body and thus, wide offset wheels to give it a racey look for an event coming up. Is it the wheel offset causing this problem or am I completely missing something in the setup?

It could be a possibility. I having a turn in issue with the 70 super bee. fine on sweepers but hairpins i doesnt want to turn. It also has a widebody.

If you went back to the stock settings and don't know what could be.
But here explains why this can happen

Ride Height Too Low = Wheel Rub

This is probably pretty obvious to some, but for those that are new to tuning, it is very possible to have such a low ride height that your wheels rub on the wheel wells and prevent you from turning fully. While this is accurate to real life, I would like to see some sort of min. clearance value...
