Tried out the livery editor, its an excellent way to lose track of time.

Wish they had more brand decals, wanted to make a calsonic Gr.B GTR but the decal wasn't available.

The Calsonic logo and text is easy to make with a few basic shapes though. But yeah, I love it too! Simple and powerful.

How u can take picture out from ps4?
Send it to a friend on psn, open the psn chat app on your phone and save from there(I send stuff to my fiancés acc all the time). Or use an USB stick. Or upload it to Twitter/Facebook and extract from there(loss in quality though).

I just made a 2nd account so I send it to that rather than annoy a friend. Don't think they'd appreciate me sending 100s of pics lol.

Lucky for me my fiancé only uses her account for YouTube and certain games (on the same console) and she isn't using the social features on the PS4 anyway so it's sorta the same way you did! I can't wait for the companion app, then we can just download the images we take directly from there.

@Tikkaritsa of course, PNG all the way. Been doing this for.. a year now? :D

Scapes + livery editor is better ;) some of the dedicated scapes for Mazda, Subaru, Nissan +++ should work with our own cars with liveries on them, not just for rental cars..

Remember to set your screenshot filetype to PNG instead of JPG.

Good tip!

For those that don't know the difference :

- PNG = maximum uncompressed quality / bigger file size / lesser common file format (although it gained a lot in popularity in recent years)
- JPG = reduced compressed quality (+/- 90%) / smaller file size / very common file format

I recommend to ALWAYS capture screenshots in PNG (or BMP for other applications, which is also uncompressed), you can always save them to JPG or some other compressed formats with even the most basic tools like MS Paint.

I find it odd that saving them as png will still make them jpeg if you send them in a ps message and save it from your phone. Realized that yesterday..

Yeah it might get converted in messages and stuff like that. But if you take the screenshots off your PS4 with a USB stick it should remain PNG.

Yeah. But I'm too lazy to go back and fourth to my PS4 to enter a USB stick and then go back to my couch - upload it to my Mac and then transfer it to my iPhone. Too much hassle. I might've come far in the recovery from my surgery four weeks ago, but I'm still taking it very piano, if you know what I mean.

I really like the Italian Lambo liveries, very simple but very effective. I like the Gulf too, though I think it requires a thin(ish) black line between orange and blue.

I use a usb stick that has both a usb plug and a lightning plug... so I can pull it straight from the PS4 into iPhone or iPad

Still means you have to walk to your PS4 to insert it / retrieve it though. But nice. I don't need that, I use Dropbox and iCloud :)
