Hello GTPlanet team.
I have recently learned how to use BB code to colour my text etc. So I have spent some time today going through one of my posts(Index of tunes in my tuning thread.) and after spending quite a while inserting the code in to the links to take users to the relevant post I saved the changes and went to look at the post to make sure that I had actually achieved what I had set out to do.
I spotted a couple of spacing errors in the post, which was my fault. However when I went back in to edit the post again and came out to check it again, somehow a lot of the text in the post which shouldn't have had any links attached did and all of them led to the same post.
So I went back in again and took out the links that shouldn't have been there and when I saved the edit and checked again I found that it had done the same again but this time it was a different link that had been inserted.

I think that the post is now how I want it but I'm a bit concerned that the next time I edit it to insert any more links that I will have the same problems. Is there any way that I can be sure that this doesn't happen again?

There are some known bugs which can do this when editing long posts with a lot of formatting, though it's not clear exactly what the trigger is. A forum software update will be rolled out soon which is expected to resolve this. I'll post a note in the site change log when this update is completed.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the prompt reply @Jordan.
I wasn't sure if I had done something wrong and inadvertently did it myself or not.
I will keep an eye out for your note in the site change log and just be sure to double check all of the code any time I make any changes.

Thanks again,
Thorin.
