I have a DFEX, aka Driving Force EX from circuit city, great wheel and if the true force feedback doesn't get enough praise, the pedals certainly do. recently it has started to squeak..now it's squaking a lot more. I can't drive it's so irritating. Is there some oil I can use that won't eat up the electronics? Explain this to me, thanks

Just squirt some WD-40 in there. There shouldn't be any electronics right on the moving parts where the squeak is coming from.

Don't overdo it, obviously, but a couple dabs here and there should fix it right up.

I used the wd-40, and it worked like a charm, for about a day. Kinda strange but it's gone back to squeaking again. And I'm really not sure how much more WD-40 to use. Does anyone else's DF-EX make a metallic noise, like a a school bus's brakes?

sounds like a simple lubricant issue, and since WD-40 seems to dry out, i'd recommend some graphite powder. pick it up at any hardware store, usually stored near the locks and stuff. that should do the trick.
