After receiving overwhelming support for this thread, there is an official date; Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 3:00 PST. I will make a room titled "GTP 1/4 STOCK CAR". Here are the rules:
~ CARS WILL BE COMPLETELY STOCK!! No oil changes, no aero addons, NO TUNING PARTS.
~ You will be using Sports Hard tires.
~ TCS will be allowed as many of the cars that will be dragged do have TCS. We will do sessions of TCS and no TCS.
~ NON-BROKEN IN CARS

I need to know who is going to participate and what cars you are bringing. I will bring a stock Dodge Viper ACR, Corvette ZR1, Corvette Z06, Lexus LFA. I will post potential match ups after people have posted what cars they will be bringing.

Current Potential Match ups:
~ Lexus LFA vs McLaren MP4-12C
~ Ford GT vs Corvette ZR1
~ Lamborghini Gallardo vs Corvette Z06
~ Audi R8 vs Viper ACR

Will continue to post more Match ups as people post what cars they will bring. Then will post the results from GT5 and possibly from real life and see if they match :D

Fixed

Don't know at yet, I'll have to buy a few. Most of my cars are tuned to the max.

So no engine overhaul for cars from ucd to bring them back to original power? Also, I assume new cars aren't to be broken in?

Great I've got all kinds of cars I keep stock. I might even break the seal on some of my 0/0 OCD muscle cars,:sly: gt350 anyone?

Meh, I guess you can do engine overhauls as that would be how the car originally came 👍

No, not broken in.

I'll probably just bring stock muscle and stuff like that. Camaros, Chargers, Mustangs and the like.

Cars I'll be bringing: '02 R34, '02 Spirit R, '70 Chevelle, '87 GNX, '03 SRT4. I'll bring out more/different cars if there is a demand for a wider variety. I've got 500+ cars, with less than 100 of them tuned to any extent.

Awesome, I wanted to take down an SRT-4 with my Accord EX '03. :mischievous: I'm down for this, and I've got a crapload of cars that aren't tuned in any full extent. The only thing I have an issue with is the no revving bit. Even when you have a stock car like an Opel Corsa vs a Citroen C3 in a traffic light shootout, you'll have them both rev their tits off so they can actually take off decently. I suggest that you do whatever you need to do to win when it comes to takeoff launches. 👍 Except take the other guy out at the start.

Most cars that we'll be using have clutches IRL so you should be allowed to rev it up to launch it.

sounds like fun I can bring LP640 and LP670 and both the GT concept and road car. Where will these races be held will they be at Indy

Don't make me bring out a ford taurus sho!

I'd love to come to this. I run stock street car rooms at Indy all the time. I can bring every premium car in the dealership in stock form. Although some of them have been oil changed so I could look up the stock power online and use the limiter if that would be ok. I think I have about 50 cars on favorites that are stock street cars ranging from 300-700 hp. Basically any super car in the game. Psn is GREENTELLATUBBY if you'd like to add me and invite.

I plan on picking up some supercars tomorrow from the premium dealership, maybe a few UCD cars as well.
