Big iTunes design overhaul opinions?

To kick things off, I hate how small they made the time slider thing for music in the top center of the screen. The bar is so tiny it takes precision to skip music.

iTunes has sucked since they overhauled the interface with version 11. No one liked it yet most were forced to upgrade because of device compatibility. I never used it after 10, such a resource hog.

Don't have any problems with the timeline here, it works just as it always did.

I much prefer iTunes 12 over 11. The red icon doesn't feel right, though. I suspect they changed the color to help differentiate between it and the Safari, App Store, and iMessage icons which are predominantly blue.

I've been getting used to the new UI elements since release and I do like the new flatter look. One thing that has erked me is the way you now have to input ID3 tags. It's weird and is going to take some time to get used to.

Hey, it could be worse!

Edit: Fun fact - iTunes still supports the 1st generation 5GB scroll wheel iPods. Finding a Mac with FireWire is becoming increasingly difficult, though...

Of course it has to, you need to use itunes with ipods, apple make you update software so it still would be supported, most likely a common communication protocol for apple i devices.
