The US series is supposed to have No aids allowed. However I use a DFGT so it is easier for me to control the car. I also wanted to make it as realistic as possible compared to IndyCar which has no TCS. Then again they don't use ABS either. TCS will be allowed on road courses is the US series from now on, but will remain off for ovals.
I have suffered engine/gearbox damage in both races I have attended as well. On the pace laps. Spacing does not seem to be the problem. The pole sitters pace or lack of it was the problem. Slowing to below forty on the straights (at Madrid) and letting the pace car get far ahead and then accelerating to 120+ to catch up with the pace car and breaking hard right behind it. If you are trying to form up double file and are a trailing car you are forced to follow suit. When you break hard behind the pole sitter the cars behind you can't avoid a collision.
Please. Pace car keep to the speed limit or slightly less. Lead cars NEVER go over the speed limit. Nor drop too far behind the pace car.
Edit: I didn't notice any ghosting so I assume this was not some artifact of lag time. If it was then we need to host at a US location.
Yeah I just saw it mate, I'm dropping the NASCAR aswell. Drop's public lobbies don't agree with me like his lounge does.
This is a real shame mate considering how much effort and time you put into sorting out the car specs and generally organizing the entire thing. Hope you can get this sorted ASAP buddy, see you around 👍
EDIT: Hopefully by sending the PM's the US should get a grid of at least 10 if not more. But with Joe dropping out the UK division is in serious trouble, we have next to no drivers and it's almost going to be pointless with 4 guys per race. We spent so much time sorting this out and I'd hate for it to just collapse, we are in dire need of UK drivers but I don't know where to start.
You mean US make UK? I'm going to stress it in the next PM reminders I send out for Round 2. It's just slightly annoying that this thread has been viewed 11,615 times and only a handful of guys have signed up for the UK.
Got a friend who's gonna join the Us series. Anyone got their setups ready? Should be a good race. The corkscrew is going to bring out a few cautions I think.
