A great car and a former king of the track - in 1961 and 1962 Jaguar MK2 3.8's won every round of the British Saloon Car Championship. It's dominance didn't end until the arrival of the 7 litre Ford Galaxie in 1963.
It was also a favourite of both the British Police and the bank robbers that they chased. Since 1960 it has held an unusual world record - the longest continuous skid marks of 950 feet (290 metres).
I would love to have the cars in this picture including the Jaguar so I could recreate the early days of the BSCC (now known as the BTCC) - Jaguar v Ford Galaxie, Cortina, Anglia, Mini and Riley.
