Are these leaks then, or just slightly less crap imaginations from the teasers than mine? I wasn't paying attention to the dates, but Jaguar isn't set to reveal it until tonight and they look too narrow from the 3/4 angles...

Fake news

I’m limited to what I can look at on Instagram because I don’t have an account there, but it doesn’t look like any kind of ‘industry insider’ posted this.

I won’t believe it until I see a video, or at least a photograph.

I don't really know much but that account has posted quite a few accurate leaks before.

I mean its a lot of photos and effort to make them if it were indeed fake, I don't think AI would of done it with the consistencies across the images

I dont know, its the same to me.

I'm kinda indifferent to this design. It's not really too out there, but it also doesn't really scream "Jaguar" in any capacity - new or old Jag alike.

Imagine being run over by that... You'd have a bruise that looked like a barbecue with "rauGaj" in the middle of it.
Doesn't that low-key imply that jaGuar was...cooking?

I'm not convinced of their cooking skills.

I imagine your body would look like a Bent Antenna if it hits you hard enough given those edges.

So, they’re rolling with those rear taillights. Ugh.

Copy nothing and that profile window treatment look like an XJS. The interior separation(I’m not calling it a partition) gives off the perfect “stay out of my space” vibe. I mean, one doesn’t want to feel to over crowded by the passenger while driving a car with mailbox slot-sized windows.

I say do a total rebrand and switch the name from Jaguar to “The Wilbur”.

Friend1: “Heyyy, I heard you bought a new car. What’d you get?”
Friend2: whips out phone to show Friend1 keyless entry with logoThe new in Laurence Fishburne Morpheus vioice ‘The Wilbur’.”

Can't say it looks like anything else on the road at least... I guess they stood by their 'copy nothing' idea.

I don't think it looks good, but it's definitely unique and will absolutely turn heads, far more than any visual design they've recently, but I'm not sure if I actually like it or not.

To me, look like they took some styling from this. Wheels are damn near similar.

In hindsight the whole 'copy nothing' line, clearly doesn't work. However I still think it rings true to a certain extent, from a standpoint that it doesn't really look like any other Jaguar before it.
I do think it has similarities to a Rolls Royce (lower front fascia), and that front also has shades of Polestar to it. And like @Famine pointed out, it does bare a similarity to the Mercedes Vision GT (or Maybach 6 GT), in it's overall silhouette.

Having said that (and yes I'm aware I'm in a minority here), I still think it looks great, and the more I look at it, the more I really do like it. I know it's unlikely it'll ever reach production because of it being a concept, but I do hope a lot of it carries over to future Jaguar cars.

I can imagine (considering the reception it's receiving here), many will think I just have incredibly poor taste, but I'm okay with that.
I was the same when the 2023 BMW M2 was revealed, I really liked the look of that (still do), but it seemed a vast majority of the motoring world hated its styling, (saying it looked like this and that). But I honestly think a lot of those same people have warmed to it.

Well done, Jaguar.

Its their image to destory, irrespective of whether you liked it previously or not.
Not exactly true, it belongs to the shareholders. Companies have a fudiciary responsibility to shareholders to do what it is the best interests of the companies shareholders.

Shareholders could sue, and for big money, if they could evidence that their best interests were deliberately ignored in favour of something else.

It rarely happens, and I'm not saying that will or should happen here. Just pointing out that legally, a CEO could be in serous trouble if they destroyed a brand. It's hard to evidence, but it is still a legal responsibility to shareholders.

Yeah this concept really does like crap. What were they thinking with the washboard on the front and rear of the car? It's not attractive, it's not stylish and really does not have the character that one would associate with Jaguar. Of course, this "new" Jaguar isn't the same as the old one so what do I expect? In movies, we talk about character assassination and this new car is very much an example of that.
