Japanese 70's cup??

Which car has anyone used for this series?? I have the Fairlady 240 whatever and its not able to keep up with the leader on Fuji-just not enough power. The lead car seems to be the GTR hardtop that you win-but what will beat it-its doin my head in.

1971 Nissan 240ZG

Smokes 'em all pretty easily with minimal mods. Not sure if you can buy it or not, I picked it up as a prize car.

240ZG. I tuned it too much so I won by a complete and utter mile. So I plan to go back to this championship with a slower car to make it more fun. Can't wait.

A Nissan Fairlady 280 ZL. It's a bit underpowered in stock but good enough for a very close second, so I reckon it'll be a winner with some light power mods.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I also used the 240ZG. Stock, only oil change and I was able to beat them with ease.

I used my 1970 Nissan Skyline GT-RKPGC110 minimal mods, and smoked the competition, which I also used to spank the competition at the red emblem races.

I used the 1973 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R (KPGC110) with just a few mods, the car is quick and handles very well. I am sure I could take a shot at the Red Emblem races with it too.

You win it in some Nissan event I think, but I don't believe you can buy it. Check the prize car list for more details.

I used that old orange Civic (not sure on the name). Nearly full mods, and it was still a challenge. Any throttle input sent the inside front tire spinning like crazy, and the nose straight towards the outside of the corner. Great fun trying to hustle it around a racetrack, though! 👍

Nope no LSD. Forgot about that when I was upgrading.

I raced it with default settings. I could have done the races much easier if I had tried to set it up. I guess I just got lazy and dealt with the horrible understeer.

I used the prize car Fairlady Z.
I also way over modded it.
Oil change, race trans, semi-race suspension...
That should, with minor tweaks kill the competition.

Which is the Mitsu Galant. Its sweet with the mirrors all up on the hood and shizzle. 👍

Currently I have chip, sport suspension and intake and it makes for a good race w/ 10pts-27pts for aspec so far for the 1st 2 races. Opps. just got owned by the skyline. Time for a few more mods. Stg1 engine upgrade allowed me to beat skyline in 3rd race but that knocked it down to 9 aspec pts.

I'm finding the best thing to do is add and remove mods according to your competition to maximize aspec pts.

Win the Nissan Fairlady Championship. I did it with a stock 89 300zx that blew out the competition.
