Well since some interest has finally generated towards this thread, let me be clear about the reason why I have each car set up in a specific way. This competition is for all those people out there who've always wanted to run a race against someone else but didn't/couldn't because the cars they wanted to use weren't quite or not even close to being equal. For example, say you have a friend who is always boasting about being faster than you, so the 2 of you decide to race against each other. You use the Mitsubishi 3000GT and he uses the R34 Skyline. Now, if the 2 drivers are of relatively the same skill level, then, chances are, the R34 will get the victory. By setting each car up with specific parts and settings, I've attempted to eliminate such difference in car performance and allow racers to be able to pick a wide variety of cars to use without having to worry about it being much slower or faster than the other cars.

Obviously this whole idea would work much better if I had a Sharkport and an extra memory card that allowed me to set all the cars up, load my memory card data onto the computer, and allow competitors to choose the desired car without the burden of having to set up each car manually. I have much more cars with specific setups like the ones you see above (125+), and I would take the time to convert the formats of some of the other car classes onto here if this spot race generates enough interest.
 
Well there's nothing holding any of you back from going ahead and running a race. This is just a spot race: there's no certain time that the race starts, so you can run the race and post lap times and discussions at will. I'll try to get a time up here soon to get this thing started.

Far from the fastest but I'm just trying to get a time posted to get this thing started. Remember that there are no rules. You are racing for the fastest time people, so if that means cutting through the grass or bouncing off the other cars then so be it.
