Fastest Lap Bonus - 2 pts - Voltron - 1'38.756 :burnout:

Congratulations to Voltron, nice, decisive victory!
And yes, the always penultimately-placed FuryX21 keeps his streak alive with another second place!
Congratulations to everyone, especially rhnelson - he's taking out the slow cars first, so he'll blaze by us at the end! :P

Hooray to me! Hope I can hold on with the cars left!

Also, congrats to Fury, that's a screamin time with the Nissan! Sorry you had to be second again :D

:Sigh: When will it end?

Man, I couldn't use the Skyline! :( Its not fair! Oh well, I couldn't see myself getting those fast lap times anyway. Those times are smokin' Voltron! Congrats! Looks like I wasn't the only one who was curious to see how the RWD cars handled in the wet :D Interesting to see that 3 people preferred the Impreza over the Lancer.

Thanks Fury, worked hard on this one. Did you try the RX7? I thought that woulda been real close with the R34.

3rd, getting better! Are we going to see Voltron dominating again? Can he be stopped? Will Axlemonkey beat him again? This could get very interesting! Great times by Voltron and Fury though, love to see the replays :D

Yeah, I'd be glad to post my replay. Finally a reason, other than hybrids, to buy a SharkPort. Been meaning to lately but haven't needed it yet!

Don't know about domination, Fury seems pretty damn fast... this series is more of a car usage stratagy comp than anything. Could get interesting for the last race!

Ok, here is the SharkPort saved file. Looks like I'll be needing a new Video card if I wanna convert these to media files for everyone's viewing. If anyone here can convert this one, that would be great.

Oops wrong file... next post

Finally - some competition!! For last place :-)

<- Says something very nasty to rhnelson which GTP's autocensor catches (but causes the autocensor to burst into flames shortly thereafter). :smilewink

Here's a tip: try to be more consistent with your lap times. Notice how the difference between your second and third laps is almost 1.2 seconds. You should always aim to get your second and third lap times as close as possible, since you will be crossing the start/finish line at full speed. Don't hesitate to start the race over if you mess up somewhere. What messed you up was the fact that your second lap was about 0.8 seconds slower than risingson77's, and your first lap was nearly 2 seconds slower than risingson77's first lap. Thats a big time differential in racing. Even though you had the fastest lap between you two, the inconsistency ultimately cost you.

Good points, I hadn't noticed the 2nd/3rd difference.

I also that my laps are around 7 seconds slower than the winning racers'. Any chance of posting your T1 and T2 times?

Looking forward to seeing the video.

Rick

Yeah, I'll go get my sector time for you... and I'll try to get the sps file transfered by someone at gt3times.com or something soon.

Lap 1:
T1: 39.326
T2: 1'06.309

Lap 2:
T1: 31.150
T2: 58.581

Lap 3:
T1: 31.221
T2: 58.683

I think a better driver can shave an easy second off this and I can get another .5 or so.

Sorry, can't provide any sector times because I didn't save the replay. But if you want, I'll have sector times for the next race. Of course, I wouldn't have this problem if I had a sharkport :(
