Japanese version UMD

I'm currently stationed in Japan with the Navy, so I took a gamble in buying the J version of GT. I was worried all the menues would be in Japanese but I didn't really want to wait for shipping from Amazon.

Anyway, turns out on an american PSP everything's in english. only difference I've seen (judging on what I've read on the forum, not having any hands-on with the US version) is that the credits still are comparable to Japanese Yen. i.e. 1,000,000 is 100,000,000 on the J version.

Does anybody else have the J version? notice any differences?

I have the Japanese version and a Japanese PSP but everything is in english for me as well. I wonder if it is because I chose english in the system setup menu on the PSP.

Sounds right. But, I did notice when I had the PSP's music player's visualization on, the option to play the GT umd under "games" was in katakana.
