Well, I took Eddys advice and tried one of these Internet Tweaking Progs. Turns out it disabled my java somehow. I've attempted to get it fixed by going (I have IE): Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level > Enable Java Scripting. But it hasnt done anything. Java is still disabled on my pc.

Help?

Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced > scroll down to Microsoft VM (virtual machine) and check all of the options boxes. > Click Apply.

Never download those kind of programs that "improve" or "accelerate" your computer. They lie. All of those things can be done in Windows by itself.

I did that, they were already checked. I unchecked them and checked them again. It should've restarted automaticaly (It says requires restart) but it didnt. I did it manually and still no luck. Java is still disabled.

Try downloading Java and installing it again. You can get Sun's or Microsoft's Java. You can quickly download Microsoft's Java off of Kazaa.

Yeah - try Sun's Java because last I remember they were the creators of java. Not sure about that, so don't quote me on it. While your at it, download the latest java plugin. If it still doesn't work, try and find a troubleshooting guide on Sun's or Microsoft's website, or write in to a computer magazine (PC User if you get it in NZ).

I would've found a review site first and found out what tweaking programs actually do work first...

I told you that.

Well I eventually did a System Restore to a few days previous which not only fixed the Java problem but also got rid of the progs I downloaded.
