Depends on the physics... There should actually be two different "engines" for the Cup cars in GT5... Restricted and Unrestricted. At Daytona the engine should be restricted as it is at 'Dega (not in the game), but unrestricted at Indy and every other track in GT5.

Restricted, which is a restrictor plate that makes the holes on the intake smaller... really just eclipse the 200 mph mark in the draft.

Unrestricted at a place with a long enough straight... it would probably go about or just north of 250mph... Rusty Wallace took a current Cup car around 'Dega - pretty similar to Daytona - a few years ago and reached 228 and he said it had more to give, but he couldn't take anymore than that...
