I remember him now! If my memory serves me correctly, after a large accident, his mother wanted him to pull out of GP racing, and he did, somehow joining the military. However, barking orders there ruined a possible singing career.

Young Jackie did not have the same outlook as his older brother, and thus proceeded into motorsport head-on. Had that fateful accident never happened, or if Jimmy had disobeyed his mother, who knows what the elder brother could have achieved.

My condolences go out to the Stewart family.

Yes that is sad. I was reading Jackie's book last night on how he was so proud of his brother for defeating alcoholism. Unless it was expected, I dont think jackie will take this too well.
