Remember when I made that thread asking about the Sentra SE-Rs? Well, I finally got one.

Except it wasn't the one I was looking at initially.

That car was...sub-par. It had shoddy tires, squeaks, no radio antenna, and a three-brake brake job. However, a couple weeks later, I found one owned by a young man who'd not only taken good care of it, he'd installed a 4-into-one header and Loctited the throttle butterflies. The tires are the same type of Continentals that came on the car new, with good tread. The only blemish is a dent in the rear bumper cover, which shouldn't be a huge issue to fix.

$6500 later, this car was mine.

This car won't get much more than that header (which actually improves reliability by taking care of a cat issue) as it'll be me daily. But what a sweet daily it is. :3

Good purchase. I love the taillights they put on those starting in '04. Was on my list of modifications to do on my '00 SE, but never got around to it.

I'm still getting used to the speed of this thing. It's got so much more responsiveness than anything - ANYTHING - else I've driven, it will get above the speed limit around town in a hurry.

However, it's really, REALLY nice, after owning a coupe, to have rear doors again whilst grocery shopping. and even better to have a remote to lock and unlock the doors.

Awesome! My '07 B16 Spec V is still my favorite car I've owned. Just something about the torqueiness of the QR with the six speed. Really wish I had it back!

Nice catch. Great finding a first owner who's got his priorities straight!
