Will PD give all these differences to JPN version with a update patch?
Update patch should be around 1gb?
another painful update process?

Lets say we bought US/EU version.
Can we transfer our JPN saves, profiles into the new version?
Even we can there will be missing event races and one make races.

I think I'm gonna buy US version

No doubt I'll pick up the US version of Prologue. I'll probably pick up both versions (JPN and US) of the full GT5 as well if there's a significant difference in release dates. :)

well this is what im also waiting to find out....did i spend my money on the jp version for nothing or are we going to get the update too.....time will tell, but i can tell you i will be p..off when the answer will be a thick fat no...!!!!!

I'll def be getting the US version also. To answere the question on the game save transferring over...I'm pretty sure it won't work

Depnds on how far between the US release date and the EU release date and whether PD update the JPN version to the same content. As to whether i get the US version.

Either way i'll 100%, most definately beyond any shadow of a doubt be getting the EU version when it's released.

No, there is no translation option on the Japanese version...

You will have to buy the UK version when it is released next month.

Yes I'll buy the U.S. version even if the Japan version gets the extras on the U.S version.
That way I'll actually be able to understand GT TV & the news & everything else!

Already making payments towards my US copy. Will keep the JP copy as a collectable. :)

I planned on buy the US version anyway. Personally, I think when the US version hits, online races may be limited to regions.

PD has about 2 months to take care of the lag in the Japanese rooms and when Japanese players come into the US Test room. If they can't fix it, I'm afraid limits will be imposed.

What lag? I race against Japanese players all the time, only about 1 out of 15 races is laggy. And i'm quite sure that has nothing to do with the location of the players, but everything to do with the connection/upload speed of the host.

Unless there are big differences between the versions, like tracks, cars and the ability to quick tune your car, I think we will all be able to race against players with different versions.

If there aren't any big differences I'll stick with my Japanese version.

Yes, i will still definitely get the US version. I'll keep the Japanese version in my collection. Will finally be able to read the News in the 'Dealer' section. And.. 60 cars!!!! Delicious!

yes of course, ill get the US version

i bet u there will be a patch for the Japanese copies to get that extra track and cars

I believe we'll most likely be getting our JPN version patched; probably around the same time the US version hit stores in April.

I just ordered my JP GT5 Prologue from Ebay last night. Will also buy the US version.

Can't wait to take my Viper GTS for a spin around Daytona 👍

oh and i am definitely gonna get the US version, even if i had every word translated, it's still easier to just read it off the screen than a bunch of printed out papers.

Hate to burst your bubble, but the Viper is crap at Daytona. The Z06, 430, and 599 are the kings of the big D.

Some are successful with the GTR, but most are not.

who cares if its crap or not, its fun to drive, just take it easy on the throttle

If the Japannese version doesn't get updated with the new tracks and cars then i will buy the EU version.

I will do the same probably but only if there is significant differences between the versions. If not I will wait for the full GT5 whenever that is!!
