Look at passed on this street and this car was right before my eyes so i went to got look the guy that was selling it was still there in the garage so i asked how much and i sayed in my head "That's it i am going to buy it i wont regret" Looked for rust none noticed the mags BBS. Very nice today i i am going to a test track "GT3 Term" and try this car to the max.

Very nice. 3rd Gen RX-7s are getting hard to find these days, nice catch. 23K sounds a tad high, but it looks very clean, and low miles too.

Be carefull with the apex seals(edges of rotors, it's a little springloaded thin peice of metal), on 3rd gens they usually break around 50K miles.

And don't baby it around, they need to be driven hard every once in a while(shouldn't be a problem cause I would think that you would automaticly drive it hard lol)or you will lose performance and milage.

Take good care of it, it should last for a long time, and if you ever need major work, just ask me, I'm sure my dad wouldn't mind working on it if you drove it down here or flew him up there, he's had offers like that before. And my dad is a RX-7 specialist, he can fix it or no one can.

Have fun!

Troy, I donno offhand, probably 50$ or so, but you have to take apart the whole engine, and if they already broke, you probably have some pretty nice grooves in the rotor housings...best thing to do is just buy a rebuild 13B, but that will set you back 6K or so. My dad can and has rebuilt them himself, it's a lot of work but he enjoys it.

And you can get rebuilds directly from Mazda(if you want to keep all of the parts stock), Mazdaspeed, Mazdatrix, and other places.

But this RX-7 only has 23K miles, you've still got a lot of time before you even think about the engine...

NICE CAR!!!

I am going to get one too, when I'll have the money !

But for this moment I can just content myself driving a RX-7 from GT3..

Hey the car is expensive, but sure is worth every penny!!

I didn't say that they are rarely seen on the roads, I said that they are hard to find to buy, cause most owners know what they got and hang on to them. The 3rd gens were only made for 3 years in the US also...

Funny that you say that...I drove a 2nd gen. N/A RX-7 and it felt awful...straight line, anyway. Subjectively speaking, my 91 Tercel felt faster. The 7 had 135k+ and no balls. I wonder if it had been babied...

yea my dad's NA is pretty ruff when he starts it up after sitting for a long time. We still beat my bro's friend's ZX2 lol...after driving it it smoothes out.
