Hi everyone,

A question for those of you who worship B-Spec racing. Do you use B-spec as a form of an effortless way to earn credits and level? Or do you like B-spec because you like the "coaching" aspect more than A-spec? Sorry if this is a dumb question I am new.

To me it's something that felt like a chore in the beginning and now has begun to become something to earn credits while doing other stuff. At least the way it is implemented this time, but that has been talked to death (B-Spec in GT4 vs in GT5 and so on).

I most certainly do not like the "coaching" aspect of B-Spec in GT5, given all "coaching" you can do is say Increase, Decrease, Maintain and Overtake. It's all for the money, well, and for the fun in remote racing.

My only realy reason for b specing these days is simply to grind to earn money and to do remote races to help other people earn money and xp too.

I realized as soon as I did my first bspec race that I'd never reach 100% on this game. It's the most retarded boring thing ever. Try explaining to yer wife why yer sitting in front of a game playing a game but not playing a game. Very disappointed with PD for choosing this route.

When you put it like that i feel like i have been had by PD for getting all the reces done...:dopey::)

I honestly just can not sit through a race at real time without doing anything... At least on 4 you could speed it up. I understand what they were trying to do, but the execution was terrible.

Early on it was just "to try it out and see what it is all about". Then it became an easy way of earning credits while not needing to be driving yourself. I could do other things around the house and just check in on it to restart a new race every once in a while.

Now I'm using the widget (Yahoo Widgets + the GT5 b-spec app) and they run all day with only a little time on my part to check up on the widget to verify they are still running (seems to get lost or the server resets and looses connection). I spend more time swapping accounts (sub-accounts) and collecting than I do racing a-spec ;)
