Pretty cool lens. It's super light and compact. It was late when I took these so I just took some pics in my kitchen with just the one kitchen light. Handheld as well. Not, bad for $70

These are resized to 800x600 and that's it. no editing in PS at all.

Nice! I'm thinking of getting a 50, but I think I'm going for the EF-S 17-85 IS first. That or the 100mm macro. Or the 580EX.

Decisions, decisions...

I've got the 17-85 IS USM, awesome lens, but be aware it's best suited for outdoor shots and such, it's not really good for fast action shots, it's kinda slow IMO. Works wonders for:

House Shots
Lanscapes and Scenery
Panning (i.e. cars etc)
Portraits (offers easy variety and wide angle shots)
Nature

etc etc.

I like it :) I use it mainly to take sunset shots, lol.

50mm is becoming a popular lens, which isn't surprising since it's as cheap as a Taiwanese hooker and takes some good photos.
I'd rather have that 10-22, do you have any sample pics at 10mm?

10mm is good for landscape, but absolutely terrible for anything closer than 50ft...the distortion is out of this world (unless you're going to effectively use it to compliment your photo).
