Was playing some NFS most wanted on the PS2 earlier and right as i initiated a chase this song starts to play, i made 0 mistakes.. i was in the matrix.

The steady beat and techno synth goes along great with car chases.

Its always awesome when you slam a cop against the wall and they bounce off said wall over the top of you only to take out the cop on the otherside lol

(havent even played the new MW yet, kinda dont want to so it doesn't ruin what little respect i still have for NFS in general)

Lets hear them stories and sweet tracks!

I was in a tight online race with my friends had we had been doing a 12hour race on the Nurburgring track, at about 5hours into the race Breaking the Law came on and it was getting nitrous shot into the car. My lap time increased a second to a second and a half. When I caught up to a group of my friends Kickstart my Heart came on and I cleanly passed all of the 4 that I was with. Eventually finished the race in 2nd due to that last song.
Another thing happened was when Light up The Night came on while I was doing a race a 1 lap race on the 'ring and I was in tune with the corners. I hit each one with precision(in my mind LOL) and the other guy who was racing against me couldn't manage.

When I was a kid, I played Test Drive 2002. It had this one song and I'd always be in the moment when it played. Skip forward a few years and I've remembered the song after watching Top Gear, and so I downloaded it and use it for GT5. If I'm on someone's tail or leading a pack and the song goes on, then I'll instinctively become focused.

If Feeder - Feeling A Moment comes on I smile. It reminds me of my friend Mark who died when we were eight. It brings back all the memories and it does bring a tear to my eye, but it does so for all the right reasons.

I think the right song for me depends on the moment and what I'm doing.

Nickelback - Photograph just generally helps me for reasons beyond my knowledge.

Foo Fighters - The Pretender, Feeder - Miss You, Green Day - American Idiot and Feeder - Headstrong all feature in my playlist that I turn on as I prepare for my Swimming races, Basketball matches and Soccer matches.

Another Feeder track (I am a huge fan) called Sonourous often helps me if I feel like giving up, especially for the line "Don't give up, you have us... We'll find a way"

Anything achostic is nice to me if I'm doing homework and the like, but I tend to just throw my iPod on shuffle anyways.
