You DO realise if this was to happen the 360 fanboys would have something to mock about considering GT. Seriously they need a win and they would take this (awesome) idea in a authentic light

Actually, Sebenco Climb would be a damn fine track for the Escudo.
Or the 1300 BHP skylines i know you be able to modify.. Will be an excellent challenge for the G27.

I approve this thread. 👍

Here's a couple even worse ideas:

1. a "figure 8" test course
2. The appearance of Chrysler Turbine Car
3. A "D" license that teaches you to drift
4. Engine swapping
5. Buy/sell cars in some kinda PSN marketplace
6. Character/Driver Customization like in "Tourist Trophy"
7. The appearance of famous movie cars like Batmobile (2008), Herbie, Mad Max's Pursuit Special, or the Eleanore from gone in 60 secs

What's wrong with engine swapping? It would be an great addition to the game. I think that the Eleanore is looking pretty good.

A D liscence could have its place, as could a separate R liscence (like GT3).

I don't think there needs to be a "D" license as such, but something to help newbies get drifting might be nice. I tried my hand at drifting in GT4, and I was able to get to a stage where I could do small drifts, but I never found the skill to hook up some Ken Block style slides.

Engine swapping could work, but not every engine could fit into every car, so probably best to leave that out imo.

Trading cars on the PSN might work, but if you can already get them in the game then what's the point............unless PD give us DLC which we have to pay for.

I quite like the idea of making my own "character" in the game. Why can't I make a model of me driving the cars.

About Engine swaps, why not?, they only have to see the possible ones or the most common ones and then apply them on game.

Buying/selling Cars via marketplace, should be awesome, lets say i tune/design a car which is actually Great, then i sell it for a quite high price because i worked hard on it, and everyone is happy the buyer got a Good Vehicle and i Got the money i deserve.

Character Customization, it should be limited to color of the suit and helmet, maybe sponsors as much, so wheres the problem?.

i Liked those Ideas, and maybe the 5 will become True:tup:

I loved Gone in 60 Seconds. half the movie was the car chase.

1: Could be fun when you are in the mood to just mess around with friends
2: The more cars the better
3: It is required if they have it in the real game, most people(including me) have no idea on how to drift very well
4: As long as it's same brand swaps where is the problem?
5: It would add hudreds of hours onto the gameplay value
6: Would be a cool feature to have
7: I would like some, they are always fun(I liked the Nike car)

Here's my idea - GPS Data to be turned into tracks...

Imagine being able to use an app on your iPhone or something to log your drive to work - then upload the GPS data into GT5 - and that creates a track out of it...

You define some simple parameters - like track width and amount of run off / barriers etc...

Then it sticks a standard background on and some random trees or something - and away you race...

My 36 mile commute down the Fosse way would make quite an amusing Rally Track...
