(I do not care if this thread dies due to the fact its rather pointless but...)

IF... GT5 includes day night cycles, weather effects, damage, great physics, the best graphics, great sound, online, rally, LMS, SGT, drifting, 24hr races, 600 cars, 90+ tracks, on demand race related video, 3D support, support for DLC as cars are released, and of course reverse light... it will be bar none the best racing game ever made in the history of video games (GTR2 while impressive is starting to show its age in my opinion). In fact, if GT5 includes half the features wanted by most of us fans, it would still be bar none an amazing game.

Yes, if it is everything anyone ever wanted in a video game, what on earth are they going to do for GT6?! The only way up is to feature Gs somehow.

Release a cockpit to go with it??? Anyways, who cares? We'll all be dead then! :D

If there was a way that could suck us into the screen so we could drive the cars ourselves for GT6.:drool::cool:

It would be cool if GT6 had people in Home watching the race as spectators around the track... talking to each other and stuff as you drive by...

If Kaz creates the masterpiece we all expect, im creating a new religion. I will be his prophet and spread his word. Translator would be my sidekick :D

Nahh, just kidding Jesus. You know you're my best buddy! hehe

Install parts at diffrent levels using PS3's motion sensor controller!
Pitstops with the motion sensor controller! :sly::sly:
Just a random thought hehe.

Certainly isn't a pointless thread because your right in what you say.

As I said in another thread i've been gaming since the 1980s and to me GT5 could well be the pinnacle of video gaming.

When I race on FM2 every night with my friends the conversation whilst racing is always about GT5.

I think we will not see GT 6 on PS3. GT 5 will become more of a platform if they still want to keep GT going for PS3. GT 5 Pushes already PS3 to the limit and some of the time over the system performance limit. GT 6 if it ever is released will run on super hardware that can use very accurate physics model without any model swiching in different speeds. It is quite sad that it is 4th year of PS3 and classic top tier games have not still come out.

3D TV needs new hdmi standard if we want to keep framerate at 60 fps. Framerate inputed to TV has to be 120 Hz in 3D and there is no currently standard for 1080P @ 120 Hz.(we need twice as fat cable :) ) There is misconception that so called 120Hz TVs on the market today would be able to view 3d and take 120Hz input.

If all of the above was included in GT5, well excpet 3d, i would have no doubt it would be the greatest achievement in gaming simulation ever. And on top of that, i'd be willing to pay any amount below the price of the PS3 to own such a game.

GT6 will shock us all. Maybe.... they'll add more content, update the graphic (somehow), more cars on track, more customization options.... more licences. Although really aall this is nothing new, just more of what we can expect in 5. So yeah, maybe 6 will include a fan that makes you feel like the winds blowing through your hair :)

GT6 will include the following improvements (honest, Mr Sony told me):

It will be so realistic that no American cars will be in the game since as Chrysler/GM/Ford will have gone out of business.

Each race will feature no more than 3 cars as no-one will be able to afford to go racing.

Every time you stop to refuel in an endurance race your bank Cr balance will drop to zero as the cost of fuel cripples you.

You will also be driving along and find an old boiled sweet stuck to your seat, presumably left there when you had someone else's kids in the back.

Would be cool if you could draw lines thru the streets of google maps to create city, rally and other racing tracks in gt6.

thats good news if you spent nearly a grand (AU$) on an hdmi cable from Monster (I think its Monster) that was labeled the best HDMI cable in the world - it comes with a guarantee that if there is ever a new technology that requires more bandwidth than their cable can deliver its yours. Free.

Mind you I bought both of mine for around 40 bucks each...they work fine for me. Although occasionally my TV looses the HDMI signal for like 3 seconds, only during GT5P, im not sure if is the hdmi cables or not. i cant remember if the amp keeps playing the sound as well. better not do that for GT5 lol!
