Just saw Monster Truck Show!

Wow!!!

What a show! 6 trucks in total, each one 1500hp of alcohol burning, car crushing, fire breathing, gear jamming, eardrum ripping mayhem!!!

Plus Trans-saurus was there (Truck-A-Saurus to you Simpson's fans)...bit a car's roof off, then ripped it clean in half! All while shooting flames from its nostrils and dripping saliva!!

Funny thing, in the parking garage after the show, I never saw more brake stands, burnouts, and displays of masculinity...I must admit I wanted to crush everything in sight, even though I drive a cavalier :D

Man.. your lucky :\ all the monster truck shows out here in california never have any of those monsters that rip apart cars... i wish they did, i so miss them :(

Boy, i miss seattle...

Umm, not sure what you mean here, :thatsodd: but yes the "hick" factor in the crowd was a bit high...

It's not racing, it's the WWF of motorsports...they call it a competition, but it's totally staged. You could tell who was going to "win" every time. Obviously, Gravedigger won the whole thing...it's all about the kiddies.

I dug up some info about the dinosaur (transsaurus) on the web...seems he likes to eat crack houses in his spare time :thumbsup: The site says that he can destroy a house in 30 minutes :eek:
 
you know, they probably could have restored that cadillac, or that beetle and a ton of other cars for the price to build a monster truck, or those truck monsters. i really oppose it. even cars i dont really like.

Yeah but a restored Caddie isn't going to draw a crowd of 20,000+!!

I think it's safe to say that the revenue generated far outweighs the cost of the cars being crushed :rolleyes:

Too bad they weren't stomping on some Pacers or Concords though :p :p :p
