Next event up for next satuday!
Next WE the Team JVC will organise our first event on GTPlanet ! For this first race, we will race on Rome with the Japanese GT300 class race car. Our GT300 is focused on the post GT3’s integration to the GT300 class so GT3 and GT300 will race together with a BOP in order to minimize the gap between those two different classes.
The race :
This event will take place on Saturday 7th of february
- room opening: around 12:30pm GMT
- Qualifying start: at 1pm GMTor a little bit later in order to wait for latecomer
- 1 hour long race with 5’ qualifying before
Room settings:
- Tyre and fuel wear: normal
- Loss of grip on grass and wet track: realistic
- Aspiration: realistic
- Setup: allowed in the limit of the BOP rules
- Driving assists: ABS / TC / automatic gearbox
- Mechanical damages: low
- Penalties: not activated but replay might be exanimated after the race
Balance Of Performances:
- Our GT300 is a category which melts 4 FIA GT3 cars and 1 JAF GT300 car. We tested those cars on different race way in order to reach equivalence in term of performances on slow, medium and quick track. According to our tests, the BOP is reliable, but updates of the game or mistakes in appreciation of the BOP could lead to a (little) performance gap. If needed, we could modify the BOP before the beginning of the race in order to improve it.
- We spend a lot of time in order to create such BOPs so we would appreciate if you apply it as it should be. As a consequence it is not allowed to move the mandatory ballast of the car, to add some ballast in order to be out of BOP and move it, to add not allowed parts, etc…
Cars and rules:
- Common rules: rigidity improvement is not allowed, the Subaru is the only car where an engine preparation is allowed according to the following BOP.

How It will happen:
reception:
The race will be run on the official jvc room, so please add to your clubs before the race otherwise it will be too late (room ID 1001700)
Qualifications:
These will be run in solo so all the other cars aren't visible to each other. These will last 5 minutes. Do not try to cut or cheat during the qualifications, these will not be unnoticed by us so please respect the rules.
Tire strategies:
Only race medium and race soft will be allowed and they both will have to be used. There will be one mandatory stop and at least one third of the race will have to be run on medium, 20 minutes, so please be carefull. If the rain comes and that yo reallymust change your tires, the laws about the tires will be canceled
Sporting regulations:
The race must run in a spiit of cheerfulness. For this, you must respect a minimum your opponents... Penalties can be given after the race for non fair-play behavement, until the exclusion from the tem events.
=> It is forbidden to cut
=> It is forbidden to zigzag in order to avoid your opponent from giving him the aspiration. Only the the legal "going and coming back" is allowed
=> It is forbidden to push your opponents
=> It is forbidden to push your opponent outside the track
=> It is forbidden to drift, making donuts, going sideways
=> If you feel guilty, nothing stops you from waitingyour opponent and give him his position back
About the rules:
-These rules can be changed at anytime in order to tend to fairness or for other reasons.
-Respect all the rules
-If race is full and that you aren unsure about your participation you may retire from the inscription list so that other volunteers can join
-If you don't warn about your abscence you may get a penalty
About the inscription list:
There are chances there may be more people than places available, if such is the case, there will be a cnfirmation of inscription to be done between friday midday and saturday, you will be informed about that on this topic. Do not forget to conirm your prticipation othrwise your place may be given to another volunteer on the waiting list.
For the people on the waiting list, the priority comes to the first, then to the second.. Do not forget to confirm that you will be present at the time the race takes place if you are called.
If you want to retire, you can do this of course before saturday, but otherwise you may suffer of some penalties..
