History:
The Kaiser Darrin was noted as being one of the first American cars to have a fiber-glass body. The doors on the car also have a unique feature where they slide on tracks into the fender of the car. The car was designed to go up against the imported European cars of the time. However, the Darrin was underpowered and couldn't beat them. Only 435 cars were built.
