Ok so with all the moaning about Sport mode on here I thought it would be fun to share any Karma that you have seen. For example I was doing the Gr.3 race at Blue Moon. I tapped an opponent in an F-Type and got ghosted for some reason!! Anyway, he took unkindly to this and tried to ram me just as i got ghosted, hit the wall and spun out!! No video unfortunately!!

The whole problem is that people are way to frustrated about everything in this world!
I know!! I like to just go and have fun. I do want clean, good races but if i get bumped and spun its not the end of the world. IMO it makes it better sometimes trying to anticipate what others are going to do!!

If I ever accidentally bump someone or interfere with their Line during a pass I will usually give back the place. So far I reckon 3/4 of the time I get that place back through a clean pass or an error from the driver on another corner. Doing the right thing usually leads to reward more oftern than not. I guess that falls into the Karma thing, right?

Love your philosophy. I roll the same way.

Started race from ~P10 and few own overtakes and many overtakes because others own fails, then pushing "hard" and karma kicks, maybe I shouldn't smile on others mistakes.. :)

Karma is not always a Bitch......give and you shall receive, was doing the daily race yesterday at suzuka, went slightly eager into the hairpin and gently nudged a 4C causing him to wobble and lose the spot, i pulled off the racing line slowing and giving him the place back, stuck to his bumper all through the sweep only for him to lose his nerve going into spoon and going wide, giving me the place anyway. sometimes a little patience goes a long way:cheers:

This guy went all Vettel on me. Happened to be in the next race and sent a message "dont try that again!" Try what? Avoid him?!

From my perspective:

Both drivers made thoughtless mistakes from the looks of this video. The McLaren lost control but swerved across entire track to regain control, eventually staying to the right side of the track. The cockpit driver seeing all of this, failed to react and adjust speed by moving over to the left. Instead this driver stayed to the right as close as possible to the mclaren's bumper yet when there is a lot of room on the left side of the track to try and avoid the collision. During the the collision the cars jackknifed and drifted to the left.

Yes i could have been more careful, but i some how didnt see any reason he would turn left. If you noticed i barely was able to not hit his car upon re-enter by slowing down and not accelerating.

Did you also notice that you bumbed the vw guy who was in front of you? :)

Yes i did. :embarrassed: It was an unfortunate event but at that point i just wouldnt have been able to slow down enough to hold the inside line. If i would have tried less brake more turn i would have t-boned him with smoking tires. At that point where i saw him we were way past safe braking point for inside line.

Yeah at that point too late..errors happen. Always a combination of different factors. Must have been already tight after the hairpin.

I don't think we could expect clean racing when the opponents and cars change all the time.

Cockpit view is quite narrow too. I think the sounds could be improved so we could hear other cars better and sense the car location.

Almost every race someone will attempt a crappy pass and bump me. It's not instant but usually I recover the place by being consistent and watch as the gap closes from their poor driving. It's super satisfying when you pass clean and watch them disappear in your mirrors.

Yes you were accelerating around the corner into the side with the McLaren. I consider this instant karma and a lesson for you too.

Evidently you didn't realize that you were also in the wrong position leading to this crash because your intentions were to shame the other driver in this karma thread. Hopefully you can gain some insight on this and share your experience with fellow players who are also struggling with conflicts on the track.

Remember, as a clean racer you would avoid collisions at all costs.

One can always be more careful and give even more room to a point where one parks the car to grass to not interfere with other racers. As you see i already did my part, its just as it so often is many drivers just expect others to give way.. Should be a group effort..

Look at your trajectory at 0.15 seconds when you allege that I 'Vettel' you... you're taking a line that isn't accounting for my car being there. I may be bearing left but I'm taking a line that is no different to anyone else having recovered from my mistake in the second apex of Spoon. I'm bearing left to get off the kerbs and carry on a normal line down the straight. As others have noted this now just appears to be 'one of those things', this is certainly how I view it now.

I did not intend to hit you, and I now know that your intention was the same also. I'm sorry that I made what was a rash accusation in the following race (and in our PSN discussion too), and I hope there is no ill feeling.
