Rush Limbaugh and Pat Robertson said some horrific things after the earthquake in Haiti. This is Keith Olbermann's response to their utter lack of humanity.
I've never really understood American news reporting/journalism; it's entirely sensationalist and strikes me as highly personal and inappropriate reporting. .
It's just a liberal talking. There goal is to make conservatives look bad and make Obama look like the messiah. Most American reporting is all opinion and no substance. Rush though, is one of the few who actually know how report, and give a proper opinion.
The conservative pundits/commentators do the exact same thing the liberal pundits/commentators do. And Rush Limbaugh is no different...except that he abuses drugs.
The main difference is that a liberal reporter, like Keith, is about 10% reporting 90% opinion, while conservative reporters (some) report completely impartially, then give an opinion, making it more of a 50% reporting, 50% opinion.
But then again this is a thread, which was designed so that people could do nothing but voice their opinion.
You know 84.6% of all statistics are made up, right? Conservatives are just as bad as liberals and vice versa, to think different just shows that you a blinded by ideology.[/QUOTE/]
I've listened to both reporters for quite some time. Rush doesn't bash libs by making stupid pointless comments about them, he will however bash them if they do something worthy for say of being bashed.
Keith bursts out in comments which are totally useless, because he can't always come up with a worthy point, and he just wants it to sound as bad as possible, thereby making conservatives look bad. Just watch the video again.

rush has made an entire carrer out of bashing libs by making stupid pointless comments based on half truths.
Therein lies the problem. If one reports, then immediately voices an opinion, the opinion neccessarily colors the preceeding report to an audience who, presumably, consider the reporter a sort of authority figure. It doesn't matter whether the pundit spends 10% of his alloted time on exposition and 90% on commentary, whether it's 50-50, or even whether he only subtly implies a commentary (an act far more reprehensible, I think, than bald punditry). There's not even a shred of impartiality in that sort of exchange. Pundits, of any stripe, are NOT reporters.
