Kinect Not Turning On The SystemXBOne

I've got a Kinect (yes, I know) and, while all of the voice commands work when the console is on (with a bit of encouragement), I can't say 'Xbox On' to turn the console on. Is there a specific setting to make it work or does it not work at all on the Xbox One S?

Also, while we're talking about the Kinect, does the Xbox Series S/X have any Kinect support at all?
