Cannot be done on the mission challenge 8-6... I've driven 600 miles on that track, today alone... Try after try after try after try... I thought this trophy'd pop along the way but no. Anyway I finally got 1st and so I thought I'd let you know your miles here count for nothing with regards to the trophy.

I am stuck on Silver with Mission Challenge 8 - 6 and the trophy popped up after 500 miles of driving today trying for gold...it can be done here.

Is dragontail an oval. I don't think it is considered an oval, could be wrong though. thought the ovals were meaning the true ovals northern isle, blue moon?

I got mine in Arcade. I set up a custom endurance race running the SRT Tomahawk VGT on my daily mile grind to get freebie cars. Of course, then I started harvesting points and I can tell you I did more than 500 miles to get that trophy. At first, I thought it was glitched, but I am guessing I put double that mileage to get it.

That's total miles don't think it matters what mode you achieve the miles in on that one.

I think about other things when I'm on ovals, good time to reflect on the day, can do dozens of laps sometimes without realizing I'm driving

Just going to revive this thread instead of starting a new one. I've been trying to get the King of the ovals trophy for a while already but I cannot get it to unlock. I'm wondering if more people are having this issue or if there's a special way to get this one? If I look at the percentage of people who got this trophy it does seem to be very low for a relatively easy trophy, is it not?

Anyway, I've done some rubberbanding with the SRT Tomahawk X to try and speed it up a bit, in case you actually need more miles/kilometers to get it than is shown. But I've done over 5000 kilometers already and still no trophy..

Also, I'm pretty sure I've done enough actual races on ovals already to have more than the 806 kilometer that is needed for this trophy anyway. Why is it not unlocking? I really want to get platinum but if this trophy is stuck somehow then I'm not sure how I can get it since I can't just try with a new save game (yey for online saves! ).

Hmm, guess I should try another sport race on oval then. There's actually one going on today at Blue Moon Bay I see. I wish you could see your progress for these kind of trophies somehow. Would make it easier to understand what you need to do exactly.

My trophy doesn't seem to be activating for this. Did custom races with the Tomahawk at Blue Moon... nothing.

Then rubberbanded Northern Isle... still nothing.

So I did a few sports races but still nothing. Maybe I need to do more of them but I don't know.. some people who posted a while ago in this thread actually did get it in arcade and campaign. Really weird how this trophy works.

So is it just me or does it seem like there's not that many people having this issue? Or does just no one care about trophies? Few weeks later, still don't have the trophy while I did a few more oval races.

Now I did just test with a second PSN account and it looks like multiple save games can be stored on the online server. I was able to restore an old save game after deleting it and starting a new game. So that means it might be possible to get the trophy with a new save game and then go back to the old save game to still be able to get the platinum trophy for this game. You do lose all of your scape/race photos and replays though so that's a bit of a drawback. I just don't see any other way to get the trophy right now, I think it's bugged in my main save game since I've done much more miles on ovals than is necessary for this trophy.
