So far it didn't like me during my first try. I kept getting a pop up saying that Kinect lost me when I was doing the free play using my hands to drive. I guess I wasn't far enough back into the light.
I was worried about it during the in-game set up... It seemed clunky and not that accurate. In gameplay though... Wow. It is great.
I use a Playseat with a 32 in tv about 3 ft away from my head, the Kinect sensor is on top of the tv. Height wise it is equivalent to the top of my head sitting down in my rig. Kinect isn't even suppose to work when you are less than 5-6 ft away from the sensor....
Now, I have not even ran the Kinect tuner in the dashboard yet. I moved the Kinect and XBOX from the living room to my Man Cave last night when my CSR got here. If it is working this well WITHOUT even being calibrated in the Kinect tuner.... Then wow.....
Ok, my finding with Kinect is matching Viles. My findings are that I need to be up closer with the wheel. If you are using Kinect to steer the car, then you need to be further back.
Both were INCREDIBLY accurate. If you don't have Kinect, and you are interested in head tracking, it's a must.
