The Koenisegg CCGT was created for the sole purpose of racing in FIA GT1 World Championship under the new rules-set it adopted for 2008 and is based on the production CC-model range. Said to have weighed in at just under 1,000 Kgs "Wet" (When the minimum weight was closer to 1,100), it was powered by 5.0 Liter, Normally-Aspirated derivative of the road-going CCX's Engine and was estimated to produce around 600 Horsepower (Which is FAR below the CCX's quoted power output).

However, just as the car was being finished and prepared to be sold to customers, the new regulations for the FIA GT1 World championship were changed so that a minimum of 350 examples of the actual model that was going to compete MUST be produced per year. As Koenigsegg's production volumes were much, MUCH less than this, the car never raced. Thankfully, the sole-surviving CCGT is still driven a few times per year for closed track sessions and at events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

It might be a bit "Over-exposed", what with this car being in other games and all (Forza Motorsport & GRID Series, respectively)... But I wouldn't mind seeing what this wonderful car could do in a future GT Game (With it being paintable & able to put number-plates on, of course!).

Race it as a GT1 car, or add 200kg and drop the power a little to make it a GT3 car.

Also, Koenigsegg.
