Gee, it's a pretty little thing. Is that one of the major manufacturers, or a small independant?

Good to see a 10 grand tacho!

Proto motors is a famous small special car manufacturer in korea.

Sale on early of 2003.

Price...um, approximately US$25,000~US$35,000.

Many Korean street racer wait for PS-II.

Ah, finally -- the bargain supercar! I can finally empty my piggybank to get my first high-performance sports car! Christ; the thing looks as cheap as any other Kia. :P

That logo/emblem/badge on the front of it looks like an upside-down "A" from the Mazdaspeed logo...

The white lettered tires are ugly, the pedals look slippery, the turn-signal stick looks out of place, the engine looks cramped and kinda "jigged" up(like stuff was just added to it), just it's not complete...

And, either the car is running on fumes, the fuel gauge isn't working, the tach doesn't drop below 900RPM when the car is off, or the rest of the cluster is broken...

i din't see that ( eagle eye) but i check after ( you say that) and is true.

and yes that simbol is too cheap.

it most be running in that one pic of the whole cluster, cause in the other pic showing the tach it's at 0...

And also most of this car is aftermarket parts...cheapness.

yeah, i think everyone here is little overcritical. i mean people who will buy this for $25Gs obviously are not looking for and/or can afford the ferrari treatment. couple that with the fact its a small motor company that is making this car not Tommy Kaira.

i think the car looks great, and i am sure i'm not the only one (including the haters if someone gave it to them) who would cold rock it!

Hell I love the Car! I love the NOT Usual headlights, I love the color, the interior is the bits. I'd take one in a heartbeat!

Mazkid... Obviously the pedals arn't slippery, as most people UPGRADE to brushed alluminium, not downgrade to rubber. So I guess the imprezza is also slippery...

And since when is aftermarket cheap!!?!? People PAY to upgrade the stuff. Obviously it is superior stuff to the manufacturs?

It looks very slick!
You could say its the Korean version of the NSX, although I wonder what company made the engine, I mean if its a small manufactutrer they are most likely to get an engine from a bigger one and tune it, hyundai v6 perhaps??

come on is not so bad.

Oh, no; it's not outright terrible. It's certainly got its high points, being the Korea's Supercar. But that's just it -- it's the Kia of Supercars. I'd still want the car I have, considering it's the same money. I know it's a show car, but they could at least made some attempt at making the carpeting not look like a college dorm leftover.

That carpet looks EXACTLY the same type as our brand new Sebring. Some of the new carpets are tending to look that way for some reason.

The car is great but they need to work on the girls? Now if you want to sell a car/brand on the basis of sex your gonna have to take those shorts off and replace it with a short skirt, and that girl on the left is gonna get nowhere in modelling if that tummy isn't firmed up

man I just realised I'm totally off subject :banghead: I hope we'll be seeing this sweet MR in the next :gt:?

Not bad looking. And not too bad for a little private effort. Give a little credit where it's due, this Proto company probably doesn't get any goverment backing whatsoever, unlike many other auto brands.

All in all, it looks like a tight little package. Anyone else see notes of Ferrari, MR2, McLaren F1, and a Celica in the styling?

I'm impressed :) I think it's beautiful from the outside, maybe change the emblem and turn the tires letter-in, but other than that I really like it-strange color and all. (I like strange colors ;)) I think the interior could use a tad bit of help, but overall I like it. Specifics I don't quite like.. the guages, door-handles, the universal style steering wheel adapter, and wheel I guess. These are the parts, that IMO, look too basic and aftermarket, for a production car such as that. I'd like to see more ergonomic stuff in their place. Maybe a better matching carpet kit as well. Other than that, I like it! Oh, and I highly agree on the styling accents mentioned by pupik. I think it works :)

Its an overall nice car. Its in a showroom, people normally don't put a full tank of gas in a show car .
Come on people, the car is 25k. You guys are being too hard on it.

I also have to agree with alexy2k, the girls need some work if their planning on selling a lot based on sex.

Yeah, I guess for the price it's not bad. I'd like to see the performance figures on it, then perhaps I'd feel better about the cheap assembly. After all, I make do with a WRX when I'd rather have an S4....

Oh, you just have to get to know them better. They're far more fun in private. ;)

I like it. I think it looks pretty damn kewl, and for 25K - 35K i would definetly rock that **** :D

But i can't help but notice all the faces...the FACES!! look at the people in the background. They are all disapointed, and not impressed. Oh well, they don't have to drive it :P

What did you expect? They already know it's a Korean car. It's like the French at the unveiling of the new Citroen F1 car. :D
